chapter 2: a year into it
oct. 29th, 2021
exactly one year ago today, i quit my highest paying, full time job to “follow my dreams.”
and boy, do i feel like i’m dreaming.
being a freelancer is a lifestyle that’s always interested me. it’s a never boring, job to job hop that provides a constant challenge and leaves the question “am i gong to get a paycheck this month?”
(spoiler alert: for the first couple months, the answer was no)
but hey, a year later and the answer is yes. i do get paychecks. all the noes i got at the beginning lead to all the right yeses.
a huge thank you goes out to all the amazing friends that have supported me since the beginning, as well as to all the people i’ve met along the way that inspired me and continue to inspire me through our creative friendship.
so, here’s to a year of being a full time freelancer. hopefully next year, i'll still able to say i’m living the dream.
stay safe. stay healthy.
until next time.
chapter 1: the beginning
saying hello and sharing what i’ve been up to
feb. 24th, 2021
hey there! welcome to my blog. here, i hope to share behind the scenes of what i’ve been up to, as well as some real old school blog material. not gonna lie, i am super excited to have a tiny corner of the internet to share my art and long form thoughts again. haven’t had anything similar since tumblr (rip).
to start off, i recently helped a local pittsburgh band, samari velvet, film a set to play during intermission for a theatre company. it was a super cool experience to film, and i love how the final video turned out. click here to experience the full set. hope to do more like it in the future.
that’s all for now. figured i’d keep the first one short and sweet. thanks for stopping by and more to come.
